Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are unalienable rights; endowed to every American by our Creator, protected by governments that serve the people and enjoyed by a people who purposefully live to honor every fellow endowed with these same rights.
These three rights, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, are the cherished rights we are endowed with whose worth equals all else we own. To forfeit any share of all we possess is a small sacrifice in the endeavor to keep these rights. Indeed, to relinquish all we own; even our breath if necessary, would be deemed equitable to the rights retained.
Our endowment of these rights empowers us to secure these rights by instituting governments that are founded on principles and organized in power in such a form that, to us, seems most likely to effect our safety and happiness. The purpose of these governments, when instituted, is to serve the people to protect these rights.
Honor, stature and respect are reverently due every American. If difference or hatred marks our stead in the eyes of any fellow American, a fellow still is he; worthy of our continued respect in honor of his esteemed, American stature. Our civility in honoring one another underpins our mutual liberties and thereunto perpetuates the integrity of our unresigned freedoms.
These unalienable rights, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, endowed by our Creator and protected by our governments, shall be the state of our union, only, as long as we resolve to keep our union.
